About these terms
These terms describe use of PDF Speaker and this website, provided by Yike Software Studio. The App Store license is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA unless a separate license is provided in the store. This page supplements, and does not replace, that license or mandatory consumer rights.
Purchase and availability
PDF Speaker is planned as a one-time paid download without a subscription or in-app unlock. Apple processes purchases and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. The store listing at checkout controls price, taxes, regions and compatible devices. A one-time purchase does not promise all future products, perpetual updates or cloud services. A pending download link is not an offer to complete a purchase on this website.
Your content and responsible use
You retain your rights in your documents. Only import and process material you are authorized to use. Do not use the app to infringe others’ rights or bypass access restrictions. Text recognition, sentence detection and pronunciation can contain errors; verify important information against the original. Audio is a reading aid, not professional advice.
Local data and backups
Your library and progress are local, not a cloud backup or synchronization service. Keep independent copies of important files. Removing app data or changing devices can remove local documents and progress. Performance depends on document structure, available voices and device resources; not every voice supports every language.
Third-party components
The app uses Apple technologies and third-party software or speech resources, each subject to its applicable license and notices. Product branding does not replace those licenses or imply exclusive ownership of underlying components. Rights granted by open-source licenses and applicable law remain unaffected.
Support and changes
Contact us for product support or questions about these terms. We may update the app, website and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date and any notice required by law. Nothing here excludes non-waivable warranties, remedies or consumer protections. Privacy practices are described separately in the Privacy Policy.
