Scope and local processing
Yike Software Studio publishes PDF Speaker and this website. The app processes imported PDFs, extracted text, OCR and speech on your device. We do not operate a document-upload service. The app has no accounts, advertising, tracking or usage analytics.
Your library and control
Document copies, bookmarks, reading progress and preferences are stored on your device. They remain until you remove them or clear the app’s data. Removing an imported copy does not delete the original file. Backups or cloud file providers you enable may retain separate copies under their own policies. The app does not synchronize your library between devices.
System and external services
Apple manages App Store purchases, system services and any system voice resources. Opening a cloud-hosted file may contact its provider. These services follow their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment-card details. External links only contact their destinations when you follow them.
This website
This static site has no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. Language selection is reflected in the URL; it is not saved in browser storage. When hosted on GitHub Pages, GitHub may process IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy statement. This is separate from the app’s local document processing.
Support, retention and your rights
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share. We use this information to answer your request and maintain necessary support records, not for advertising. Our email provider also processes the message. Please do not send sensitive documents. We retain correspondence only as needed for support and applicable legal obligations. Where applicable, processing is based on responding to your request, legitimate support interests or legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or exercise other rights under local law; you may also contact your data-protection authority. Updates to this policy will appear here with a revised date.
